980 THE GREATEST ZEAL AND PASSION

 

BIBLE Revelation 2:1-7 How does someone lose the love they had at first. 

SYNOPSIS: Do you know, have you considered, really studied what YESHUA went through in the time leading up to the cross and on the cross. In today’s lesson we are going to study zeal and passion. What those words really mean. Do you have zeal and passion for the things that really matter to ELOHIM? Or do you focus on things that are not really needed to gain entrance to the KINGDOM?

Rev 2:4  But I have this against you: you have lost the love you had at first.

1^ST Corinthians 13:6-11 now that I have become a man, I have finished with childish ways. 

1Co 13:11  When I was a child, I spoke like a child, thought like a child, argued like a child; now that I have become a man, I have finished with childish ways. 

 

That is why it says in Torah ref. Lev_19:32  " 'Stand up in the presence of a person with gray hair, show respect for the old; you are to fear your God; I am YEHOVAH.

Passion is a strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something. It is an intense emotion that drives us to pursue our goals and dreams.

 

Passion is a deep-seated belief that drives an individual to take action and make a difference in their lives and the lives of others.

 

Zeal, on the other hand, is a fervent devotion to a cause, belief, or principle. It is a deep commitment that motivates us to take action and make a difference.

 

Zeal is not just about being passionate; it is about taking action and making a difference in the world.

1^ST Sh’mu’el (Sam) 15:22-23 For rebellion is like the sin of sorcery.

1Sa 15:22  Sh'mu'el said, "Does YEHOVAH take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying what YEHOVAH says? Surely obeying is better than sacrifice, and heeding orders than the fat of rams. 

1Sa 15:23  "For rebellion is like the sin of sorcery, stubbornness like the crime of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of YEHOVAH, he too has rejected you as king."

Psalm 119:137-144 zeal is destroying me.

Psa 119:139  My zeal is destroying me, because my foes have forgotten your words. 

 

ZEAL: H7068 קנאה qin'âh BDB Definition: 1) ardour, zeal, jealousy 2) jealous disposition (of husband) 3) sexual passion

B’midbar (Num) 25:6-13 Passion & Zeal.

Num 25:11  "Pinchas the son of El`azar, the son of Aharon the cohen, has deflected my anger from the people of Isra'el by being as zealous as I am, so that I didn't destroy them in my own zeal.

Num 25:12  Therefore say, 'I am giving him my covenant of shalom,

 

 

Num 25:13  making a covenant with him and his descendants after him that the office of cohen will be theirs forever.' This is because he was zealous on behalf of his God and made atonement for the people of Isra'el." 

 

Yochanan (Jn) 15:12-14 No one has greater love zeal or passion.

Joh 15:13  No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends. 

 

Proverbs 8:22-31 HE was there before the universe was.

Pro 8:31  playing everywhere on his earth, and delighting to be with humankind. 

 

DELIGHTING: H8191 שׁעשׁע sha‛shûa‛ BDB Definition: 1) delight, enjoyment 2) object of delight

 

Ref. Luk 22:44  and in great anguish he prayed more intensely, so that his sweat became like drops of blood falling to the ground. 

 

Ref. Luk 22:63  Meanwhile, the men who were holding Yeshua made fun of him. They beat him, Luk 22:64  blindfolded him, and kept asking him, "Now, 'prophesy'! Who hit you that time?" 

 

Ref. Luk 23:16  Therefore, what I will do is have him flogged and release him." 

 

Ref. Mat 27:27  The governor's soldiers took Yeshua into the headquarters building, and the whole battalion gathered around him. Mat 27:28  They stripped off his clothes and put on him a scarlet robe, Mat 27:29  wove thorn-branches into a crown and put it on his head, and put a stick in his right hand. Then they kneeled down in front of him and made fun of him: "Hail to the King of the Jews!" Mat 27:30  They spit on him and used the stick to beat him about the head. 

 

AMEIN & AMEIN!!!

Remember Yeshua the Messiah is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

He was and always will be a JEW!!!
